Welcome to VertiKal MagaZine!  We would first like to thank everyone for being supportive to this process.  My partnership with Deidra began June 2009.  In a very short period of time, we were able to go from visualization to actualization; from thinking about a magazine to what you will experience here.  We realize we could not have done this in and of ourselves.  There are people who have supported us tremendously through this process; some are here with us, some have gone to higher heights.

I would be remiss if I did not say particularly to my auntie Ethel, grandmother Mavis, and mom Corlena - There would be no me without you. You saw my potential before I even realized I had any.  I will continue to pass on what you have given to me, to those around me, and to our VertiKal readers.  I love you more than you will ever know.  I think about you everyday.
